Studio Profile
M+L is an interdisciplinary architecture and landscape practice founded on a shared belief that contextual, thoughtful design can strengthen relationships between people, place, and the more-than-human environment. Operating across scales - from integrated interiors and single dwellings to civic, educational, and public-realm environments - our work is grounded in narrative, research, and dialogue. We question architectural and social norms, explore hybrid cultures and typologies, and treat every project as an opportunity to build deeper connections with user groups, the built environment, and the ecologies that sustain us.
Jack is a registered architect with extensive experience across adaptive reuse, tertiary education, social housing, residential, and integrated fit-out design. His professional expertise has been shaped through roles at several respected Melbourne-based practices, where he has contributed to a diverse range of thoughtfully delivered projects.
In addition to his practice, Jack is a Studio Leader at Monash University, where he plays an active role in shaping architectural education. He balances professional practice with academia, contributing meaningfully to both the built environment and the development of the next generation of architectural thinkers and designers.
Matt is a landscape architect and urban designer who’s passionate about creating places that bring people together and make cities more livable.
